SURE Energy Auditing Team
In March 2009 SURE organised a day of free training about doing energy audits of community buildings.
This was well attended and has led to the formation of a team of people in Wharfedale keen to offer free audits to local community groups.

In early 2009, two members of the SURE Auditing Team carried out an energy audit of the Weston Lane Junior Football Sports and Social Club.
The findings were presented as a report and this was discussed by the Club's committee.
Several of the recommendations were taken up leading to substantial savings of both energy and fuel costs.

The Auditing Team is now offering its services and energy efficiency advice to other community groups in the locality.
It is believed that this will raise awareness of energy saving ideas both at the building itself and in the homes of the people who visit the buildings.
